Most people agree that parents are supposed to love, care for and guide their children to be good, respectable people. There are some parents out there who abuse and abandon their children. These deadbeat parents are being punished.
A lot of the time, deadbeat parents are charged for not paying child support. They then disappear, never to be seen again, to escape paying up.
There are some deadbeat parents owing as little as $5,409.36. One may say that’s not nearly considered a small amount but compared to the amount some of the worse deadbeat parents’ owe it is a small amount.
Danny Ray Jerald Taylor, 29, of Clover, was last seen December 25, 2007. Taylor owes $49,744.80.
Then there’s Dennis Erby, 45, of Rock Hill, who was last seen March 22, 2007. Erby owes $51,303.24.
There is also James Lee Johnson, 57, of Charlotte. Johnson has two family court bench warrants amounting to $60,830.14.
The worst one of them all is Tyrone Glover. Glover, 35, of Catawba was last seen June 28, 2007. Glover owes $105,699.64.
The community is encouraged to go to the York Count Sheriff’s website to look at the rest of the deadbeat parents of York County.
If a person is willing and able to participate in creating a child they should be willing and able to be a good parent and raise that child.
The York County community can help these abandoned children simply by calling the York County Sheriff’s Office at 803-628-3059 or 803-327-2021 or by calling Crime Stoppers of York County 877-409-4321 if you have any information about the deadbeat parents.
